Prices:   Prices charged will be those displayed on the payment screen.

Carriage:   Royal mail 1st class delivery as standard.

Non Delivery, lost in transit:
  Claims for non delivery must be made in writing or by e-mail to remotes4u.co.uk. Please quote the paypal number when paying by credit/debit card. For cheques please quote the cheque number. Standard delivery may take upto 5 working days, if this time has expired and you have not received your goods please contact us.

Out of Stock:   In the event any remote is temporarily out of stock, Remotes4u.co.uk. will contact purchasers to see if they wish to stay on 'back order' or if they wish to cancel their order for full refund.

Damages or Short Delivery:
  Damage/shortages must be noted on Carriers Delivery Sheet immediately or, in exceptional cicumstances within 7 days.

Return of Goods: may be made at any time and for whatever reason within 7 days of their receipt by the customer. The customer may have to pay the cost of returning the goods.

Goods cannot be returned if they have been damaged by the consumer, this includes damage caused by battery leakage, being dropped, scratched, spillages and all packaging must be intact.

Cancellation of Orders:   Consumers are entitled to a 7 day cooling-off period which commences on the day after they receive the goods. You must put this in writing or send an e-mail to us at returns@remotes4u.co.uk within the 7-day cooling off period. Refunds will be issued on the successful return of goods within 30-days of receiving the request for cancellation.

The company reserves the right to charge a fee (for charge see specification) for any returns made within this cancellation period for goods which conforms to the contract and which satisfy the implied terms contained under the Sale of Goods Act 1979. This charge will cover the direct cost incurred by the company for recovery and restocking of goods.

Goods which do not conform with the contract or the implied terms contained within the Sale of Goods Act 1979 will be replaced or their price refunded in full

Specification:   The customer is completely responsible for making sure the goods ordered are entirely appropriate for the use they are intended, making sure the correct model is ordered for the the equipment it is to be used with. The specifications and descriptions of goods on this site are correct to the best of Remotes4u.co.uk knowledge at the time of the site going live.

There will be a 30% charge incurred by the customer if a remote which has been returned is not found to be faulty or incorrect in any way. If the customer has incorrectly ordered a remote by giving the wrong model details this will apply. This also applies if the customers own equipment is found to be faulty. The 30% will be deducted from any refunds issued to cover the dispatch and restocking process incurred by ourselves. This does not affect your statutory rights.
